Beginner bow 8 year old
First how for our 8 year old and she loves it. User friendly. Love the quiver bag it comes with.

Great beginner bow
My 6 year old girl is just strong enough to draw this bow. Her arms aren’t long enough to aim it using the sights, but she is able to point and shoot just fine.

Great starter bow for the kids!
I wasn’t expecting much at this price point but I was wrong, because this thing rocks! My little dudes, 6 & 7, had never touched a bow and within 15 minutes they were smacking the target at 15 yards! They are hooked! The 6 year old struggles a bit with the draw, but he can do it with only minor assistance, the 7 year old needs zero help and is legally changing his name to Robinhood. Fantastic product, great price!

Great Youth Starter Bow
[UPDATE 4.26.2023]So actually having this out in the field and with my grandson to start using was troublesome. The bow just is too heavy of a draw for my 5 year old grandson at this time. Also, it is notable to mention that the arrows provided are pretty dull tipped. So they will not plunge into the target as well as other field tips. The tips are also fixed so you cannot change them out.Pros:Youth BowGreat For Introducing Your Young One to ArcheryAmbidextrousSoft Touch GripBuilt-In SightTrusted BrandCons:Not What I Was ExpectingWhat I received in the package:1 x BARNETT Wildhawk Compound Bow1 x Pin Sight1 x Arrow Rest2 x Arrows1 x Instruction ManualThis BARNETT Wildhawk Compound Bow product I got for my grandson to use. I started him off on a recurve bow and it is just too strong for him. I thought that stepping him to a compound bow will help him develop his shooting skills and then we can try working on the recurve again. This item description reports this is a 17-lbs draw. The draw weight should be light enough the him can control the bow and him pull motion and work on the mechanics. However, when I received the bow it reports a draw weight of 15 lbs. This is not a deal breaker but it’s just inaccurate. The bow item description states a draw length of 21 – 27”. The item I received reports a 15 – 23” a draw length. Minor difference but the devil is in the details. The bow itself seems to be decent quality and it integrates a sight pin to help work on accuracy. This is a nice starter bow for any young person around 5. It will help develop interest and accuracy with the light draw and compound mechanics. This is a very basic compound bow. I would not waste time trying any add-on equipment. But rather work on fundamentals and then when my grandson is ready … provide a more stout bow that he can customize. This bow is very lightweight and will also help him slowly build up is arm strength at only 1.6 lbs.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, I think this is the perfect solution for my current needs. He needs a bow that is a bit more forgiving that a recurve and this may fit that bill. He should be able to increase accuracy as well as have more fun as he sees success. I think this is a cost effective choice and I don’t have any regrets. Only complaint is the item information not being accurate. Hope this information was helpful. [4 Stars]

Great starter/learner bow
Very nicely put together. Smooth draw back and easily done by our 7 year old. Looks cool and is pretty accurate. Also multiple arrows that work with his bow cheaper than company that makes the bow. Just saying

strong little bow
Great for my 9yr old, and its powerful enough for the arrows to go into the target.
