Me –
Good arrow rest OK plunger.
Copy of review I wrote for the RH model. Pet peeve is they sent a wrench which was too small for the plunger in the RH set. Will they work? Yes. Can you get better stuff? Yes. Are they a good value? Arrow rest probably. Plunger not really/maybe. As a DIYer who only dose targets these will work for me.Arrow RestThe arrow rest is similar to a Spigarelli Magnetic ZT but Not the same. Nice wire diameter and stiffness. We will see how well the set screws hold after several shots; a little blue loctite has fixed set screws that loosen quickly due to vibration so I’m not too concerned.CushionNo easy click style windage adjustment but I wouldn’t expect it for the price. Any adjustments required allen keys. The plunger tube, purchased two sets both with same issues, has burs causing the plunger travel to be erratic. Suggest disassembling and rolling emery cloth inside to improve plunger travel. Plunger not suitable for high/low draw weights. The set comes with extra springs but they were all the same spring rate (I checked these poorly using a digital scale and ruler. If you do something more scientific please post the values). Out of the box mine were set at 350/400 grams (plunger depressed halfway). A turn of the fine adjustment brought it closer to 300 grams. Out of the box this is fine for 30-35# recurves. Plenty of threads available to push this well into the 400’s but it won’t go past 500 grams. Needed one set at 200 grams for a 20# draw weight bow. With the adjustment backed almost all the way out I couldn’t get 200 grams (best was 220’s) with the plunger depressed halfway. Cut the last coil off one spring and moved all the adjustments in (main abut 4 turns and halfway on the fine adjustment). This gave 190’s-200 grams with the plunger depressed halfway. Again not the smoothest travel.
