The reinforced foot platform is 30% stronger so you can step down confidently to penetrate tough soil. Best purchase for flower bed work !
This is not a lightweight garden tool. It is sturdy and d very well made! I was unsure how I would handle it since I’m 73. I had some weeds in my front flower beds that I wanted to get out so I could plant some flowers! 🌺 I went out and placed the claws right over a fairly large weed, stepped on the pedal(?) with my foot on the pedal I leaned back pulling the handle of the weeded towards my chest. To my utter delight it smoothly pulled the weed up roots and all and there is a nifty little black thing that when the weed is still in the claws’ grip and you put your hand around this black plastic part and push it forward, it shoots the weed right off of there!!! Blew my mind! U can aimIt as a garbage bag or just make a pile to pick up and get rid of for good!!! 😊 if I can use it this easily anyone can! SO pleased with this it’s one of my favorite gardening tools now! It’s allowed me to get back into my flower beds without having to kneel down to do the dirty work! I had reached the point that I couldn’t get down like that for long periods of time. This is such a great buy if u want to make maintaining your flower beds easier!! I love working in my flower beds and thought I was going to have to not plant anything but now I can make the beds plant ready with not much effort! Brilliant idea!! Thank u so much!! Susan Yearout

    Surprisingly Effective & Satisfying
I can confidently say this tool far exceeded my expectations. At 39″ long, the handle is the perfect height. I’m 5’6″, and I can use it comfortably without bending, which makes a huge difference during long weeding sessions. It feels sturdy but not heavy, which makes it easy to maneuver. To use it, you simply press the claws into the ground around the weed, tilt the handle back, and pull. The four sharp stainless steel claws grab onto the roots surprisingly well. Best of all, you don’t even have to touch the weed afterward, the orange slider ejects the weed cleanly with a simple push, and it rarely jams. This tool works best on open lawns or soil where you have room to step down with it. In tighter garden beds or around delicate plants, I still reach for my hand tools. One thing to note: since it pulls the weed roots out along with a chunk of soil, you’re left with a small hole. It’s nothing major, but worth mentioning if you’re particular about having a perfectly smooth lawn.

Tired of breaking your back while weeding?
My Mom was seeing this product on social media, and kept talking about how much she wanted to try it to see if it could save her back when weeding this summer. To Amazon I went to try to find a product that was trustworthy and would work for her! Once we figured out how to use it properly she said she will “never go back”. This product is durable, and is able to poke through the ground even when it is dry and harder to pull weeds with your hands. It is adjustable, so my mom who is a short 5’4 can use it, but my 6’3 dad can also use it comfortably. We were able to weed the entire garden and flower garden in half the time due to this tool, and all the weeds were coming out by the root instead of leaving pieces behind to regrow! This product will become a staple in our house and we are thinking about adding more so that we can get weeding done even faster!

Surprisingly Fun and Satisfying, but Not Perfect — Great for Larger Weeds
My partner and I both love using this tool—it’s actually fun to use. Once you start pulling weeds, it’s hard to stop. There’s something weirdly satisfying about yanking those stubborn dandelions out root and all.Pros:Very easy to use: The design is intuitive and user-friendly.Satisfying results: Great for big, deep-rooted weeds like dandelions and even clumps of foxtail grass (which I was trying to remove for my dog’s safety).Cleaner and safer: You don’t have to touch the weeds, and it’s a great chemical-free alternative.Great for couples: Both of us enjoyed using it—it became a bit of a game!Cons & Considerations:Works best in soft or moist soil: In hard, dry ground (like most of my yard), even stomping hard on the foot pedal didn’t help the claws dig in properly. It will still do it, just takes a bit of extra work, and maybe multiple tries with the claws.Less effective on small weeds: It’s really built for larger, tap-rooted plants—don’t expect it to tackle everything. Not truly “no-bend”: I’m 5’1″, and after a while I started feeling back strain. The handle could stand to be longer or adjustable.Durability is questionable: Ours broke after a week—one of the claws stopped retracting. We did get it exchanged, and the new one is holding up so far, but it’s worth noting that it might not withstand heavy or prolonged use.Overall; This is a really cool tool that works best as a complement to your weeding routine—not a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s especially helpful for larger weeds in softer soil, and makes weeding kind of addictive (in a good way). Just don’t expect it to tackle everything or last forever.

Get off your knees! Enjoy the weed!
I am one of those weird fellas who finds it relaxing to go outside on a cool evening, get down on the ground, and carefully dig up some weeds. That feeling of getting the entire root in one pull… ::chefs kiss:: perfection. So when my son purchased this for me for Father’s Day, I was apprehensive. Why would I betray my regular routine for a tool that could NEVER be as accurate as my own two hands?!Well, I could not have been more wrong. The feeling of walking over to a weed, stepping up on this inclined plane, and ripping up the entire weed in one fell swoop, only to then shoot it across the yard like a shotgun… It is both relaxing and fun!Quick to learn, easy to use, definitely a nice way to end the day.10/10, would yank some weed again!

What I like most about this tool is you don’t have to bend over or squat down and when you are getting on in years that really matters. It also does the job quickly. I find Fiskars is a quality brand, having previously bought their Micro Tip pruning shears, that won’t break the bank.

Its meant mainly for loose top soil, like what you may have below a lawn in a front or back yard. I bought it for my farm which has sandy loamy soil and compacted soil, it does not work for that type of heavy duty weeding. But the tool is great for what it is intended, i.e. removing weeds without bending, as along as the soil condition is as above.
