    Handy and reliable
My hand strength can vary, especially during a rheumatoid arthritis flare up and I sometimes struggle with manual can openers.I had a battery powered opener but was frustrated by how often the batteries died in the middle of meal prep. When multiple burners are going, and I’m hungry, my patience is zero.I love that I can mount a regular sized can onto this and walk away while it opens. I love that I can pop off the top part and attach it to a larger, heavier can and let it do its thing. Small cans don’t always do so well because of the smaller turn radius. It depends on the can. The learning curve on how to attach the removable top to the larger can was steeper than I expected but after a few uses I got it.It holds a charge well, opening multiple cans (I got up to 10 during one Thanksgiving baking/cooking frenzy) without missing a beat or slowing down. It reattaches to the base easily, just pop it back on, and the light at the top tells you when it’s charging. It’s sharper than my manual opener and has a useful lid magnet like most electric can-openers. Cleaning isn’t always easy. The body can be wiped down with no problem but the cutting area has the typical gripping gear and blade and often requires a cleaning toothbrush to get into the nooks. I don’t know if frequent washing means it will need to be greased at some point. So far it’s been reliable and extremely handy.

You can detach the cutting head to use it separately from the base.
This can opener is the best designed on the market. It removes the lids like a hot knife through through butter . Sharp and durable . Cordless and the cord is concealed inside the frame. The battery last a long time and it can be moved anywhere you want.Noise level is very low

    Received used product
The can opener seems fine. I am charging it now. The PROBLEM is I paid for a brand new item. This is used and dirty. It is full of scratches. Wow, fast charge!I am disappointed to buy a can opener and it has some one’s germs all over it! Do better please.Seems like it is a good product and I will love how washable the removable opener is.

    Great 2-in-1 feature!
Bought for octogenarian parents to replace their old handheld favorite. This is set up a bit differently but they have adjusted. They love it and we do too! Wish it came in white or stainless.

    Ingenious appliance
Very good can opener. Love the ability to remove the opener from its base. This allows me to open cans that are larger and taller. I would definitely recommend for any kitchen.

I liked the concept but hate the product
Well, I may be wrong, but I think the idea behind a can opener is its ability to remove the lid from a can. This one doesn’t more than half the time. The sharp blade that is assigned the role of cutting through a metal can lid does not extend far enough into most cans to even reach the lid, let alone cut it. It does a great job of spinning a can around 360 degrees (or more if one is entertained by that sort of thing). The depth of the blade is not adjustable. Also, most can openers get “gunked up” frequently and this thing is no exception (during the few occasions when it actually opens a can) but it is very difficult to clean. Certainly can’t put it in the dishwasher.FWIW, I have tried this opener with a very wide variety of cans; it’s failure to perform its assigned role is not a function of a specific type of can. In every case that it has refused to do its job, my old trusty $5 manual opener accomplished the task easily.

Best can opener on Amazon (I believe)
I love that the top of this unit can be removed & used as a wireless can opener! When you are finished simply set it back in the 70’s case to charge, or you can use it as a corded one if you want, just clip the can in & let it go! Either way, it’s much better at what it does than it’s competition! It is fast & lasts through lots of cans!

Warning to Customers in UK, like me, this is only for use with 110v-120v NOT 220v as in UK ! Therefore have no been able to use it – but fortunately I am moving to 110v country – so hopefully will be able to use it okay then.
