Great, but keep your conventional can opener as well
The lid of the can never falls into the can after opening. Also, the cut is very smooth, so you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself on the can or lid. NIce to have the built in lid lifter, so you never have to touch the lid. We like it and it appears to be well built.You do have to flip some cans upside down and open them from the bottom. Something about the design of those cans. I haven’t mastered immediately identifying those can. When they don’t open, I just flip them over. Just in case, keep your old opener. That being said, I am not sure that we have used our old opener since we bought this.

I love this little gadget! I only gave it 4 stars because the same item I purchased years ago was better quality. I would give it 4.5 if I could.I don’t know why they wouldn’t keep the same or improve it rather than make it slightly cheaper. I still love it but wish it was just like the original. Nothing was wrong with my first one, other than my son needed a recommendation on a good handheld can opener so my partner quickly jumped in with “you can have ours”! 🙄I love that it has a little “grabber” on the side of it to lift the lid off the can after you have cut the seal around the can. So much easier than trying to use your fingers!If you’re looking for a handheld can opener, this is an excellent choice!

Great quality and value
This is exactly what I was looking for. Years ago pampered chef had one of these and it was way too expensive for what it was. I saw this and was hesitant to order because I wasn’t sure it would be as good of quality. It is just as good if not better.

Easy to use.
After I don’t know, 30, 40, 50 years, I finally decide to upgrade to the latest technology on my kitchen can opener. Love how there aren’t sharp edges and like everybody says, particles of metal going into my food which I never really believed much because I could never see them. But that said I really like the process of how today’s can openers open things. I haven’t run into a can yet that it doesn’t work on.

This isn’t just any can opener its a Kuhn Rikon can opener, which means it doesn’t open a can as normal it peels the lid of the way it was put on, meaning that there are no sharp edges, sort of, there are still sharp edges but not that you can cut yourself by accident, its as easy to use as a normal can opener but I get the feeling that this one will actually last for years and that the “teeth” that grip the lid will not wear away and make it slip. All that said I would recommend it to family and friends

La marca lo dice todo, la verdad ya me había cansado de otros abrelatas que al final siempre se oxidan fácilmente o se descomponen, aunque el precio es mas elevado que otros la calidad es muy buena, es super sencillo de abrir, no deja los bordes de la lata filosos y saca completamente la tapa sin dejarla “mordisqueada”. es muy sencillo de utilizar. Lo volvería a comprar.

Cher mais en vaut vraiment la peine. Une fois que vous savez comment il fonctionne, vous ne voudrez plus avoir autre chose comme ouvre-boîte ! Autant le couvert que le reste de la canne de conserve, aucun danger de se couper… J’ai le mien depuis 2022 et il fonctionne encore à merveille. Je viens d’en commander un pour un ami. Je conseille fortement cet achat !
