    Beautiful and novel product
This is a simple, beautiful corkscrew; it has an elegant design and a fun and unusual orange color. The only drawback is that it can be a little confusing for lefties who are used to operating a standard “righty” corkscrew all their lives with their left hand (rather than using their non-dominant right hand). My left-handed wife had simply accustomed herself to operating a standard corkscrew with her left hand, just reversing the motions to turn it clockwise. This corkscrew works just as it should and just as advertised: giving the left-handed user a natural motion, which means turning it counter-clockwise with the left hand. My wife equated it to trying to drive a car on the opposite side of the road. So I guess I’m saying that it’s a great corkscrew, but not every lefty is going to immediately take to it. 🙂

    Corkscrew not actually left handed
Purchased for a coworker and they said the thing that needs to be left handed is the foil knife. It needs to flip the other way. Heads up if that’s a problem for you as well

The plus is I don’t look like a schmuck anymore opening up wine bottles in front …
I actually work in the restaurant industry and think this item a blessing. I wish it came in different colors and perhaps maybe not plastic. It’s not cheaply made as others described. Is it as nice/pretty looking as other right handed wine keys? Absolutely not. Unfortunately, we live in a right hand dominant world and left handed people are stuck with orange. The plus is I don’t look like a schmuck anymore opening up wine bottles in front of customers.

    No Color Option
Would have liked an option of color, preferably black. Also smaller logo.

I thought I was doomed to break wine corks for the rest of my life, until I found this gem. Only thing I wish is that it was a different color, I work in a nice restaurant and it’s kind of weird opening an expensive bottle of wine with a bright orange corkscrew.

Right tool for a left hander
She’s been opening wine bottles with a right handed screw for maybe forty years. Was hilarious to watch her the first time with this. She loves it, though. Every bottle makes her a little bit better. Some lefty tools are junk this is a worthy purchase.

    Laughed out of class.
Brought to my sommelier training course, instructor and veteran soms laughed at my wine key for being hard to open, serrated and plastic blade, and rickety.

Great For Those Wrongpaws In Your Life
Do you have one of ‘those’ lefties in your family? You know the ones.. they constantly bitch about living in a right-handed world. I DO. And this is one of those things I got him to get him to shut up.(Seriously, I love him and this was just a gift)
