My husband loved this! I never realized how much he struggled with traditional can openers until I watched him one day- admittedly I laughed at him. With this he doesn’t dread opening cans! He loves it and we’ve had it for many months at least and it works great.

Lefty’s have trouble opening cans
My granddaughter is 14 and left handed. She loves to cook but opening cans has been a problem because the handle is on the wrong side. She was so excited to receive her very own can opener that she can easily use. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make a difference. She didn’t need the corkscrew that came with it but it is in the drawer for a later time.

My wife can open a wine bottle now
My wife is left handed, that’s why purchase these. She is making good use of the corkscrew but on 1st attempt with a can opener she was not able to make it function, that’s why the 4 star review. I have been able to make the can opener work relatively well, however I am deficient because I am right handed.

Less ergonomic than righty tools
These are fine if you find that you’re completely unable to use right-handed tools. However the can opener and corkscrew are middling in quality. While I’d prefer to have lefty tools, it’s easier on my joints to use slightly upgraded versions of righty tools than to use these okay lefty ones. If I could get an OXO x Lefty’s collab for super ergonomics, I would buy EVERYTHING they produced!
