Not worth it. I am left handed and have arthritis in my hands. This not only didn’t help, but it didn’t cut into the cans very well.

Love this, a game changer for me- the lefty who always mangles cans with a regular opener. However, I have found it rusts fasts and didn’t stay sharp, so I buy or am gifted a new one every year! Worth it!

Works but now easily and seems not well made
This opener is not very good. I have two left-handed offspring. One prefers to use our much better swing-away that I bought years before, even though he is left handed. The other can’t manage that, and uses this one but it doesn’t work as smoothly.

My partner told me that left-handed people can get hurt using right-handed kitchen supplies, so I searched for left-handed kitchen items she could use. I’ve seen her struggle with the right-handed can opener every time she uses it because who wouldn’t struggle with their non-dominant hand?I bought this immediately, and it came within a week. I originally planned for it to be a stocking stuffer but I’m terrible at keeping surprises hidden (I love seeing people happy and get too excited LOL). I gave it to her and SHE BOUNCED OFF THE WALLS SHE WAS SO EXCITED!!!The object itself is wonderfully sturdy. The laser engraving of “Lefty’s” looks so professional even I was shocked at the quality. The metal is pristine and so sharp it gets the job done before you can say Monkey’s Uncle. Maybe say it a little slower than usual ;). The handle is wonderfully sized, easy to hold on to, and exceptionally easy to operate. It’s bright orange so she knows which one to grab as soon as she opens the drawer. The movement of the device is fluid and well-lubed. I can tell we’ll have this one a long, long time and I’m thankful Lefty’s exists. Thank you Lefty’s!!!
