This glove was a great catch! Value, quality, durability for a good price.
I purchased this glove as a gift after a great deal of price comparisons and was very pleased.

    Not for left handed thrower
Apparently I didn’t scroll down far enough and only saw where it said hand orientation: left hand throw as this is the glove my son saw that would work for him. Relieved it in the mail and it is not for a left handed throwers. One disappointing boy! I usually don’t order things like this only due to being a pain to return and I should of stuck to not ordering online.

  3. Brian Clark

    Solid glove
Really good glove. I had some stitching break earlier than I would have liked, but it was an easy fix.

  4. Jim

    Ok mitt
This was the first catchers mitt I ever bought and it’s now a backup to my SSK Z5 catchers mitt.As other reviews have stated, the leather is very slick and the ball will pop out a lot because of it. Not an easy break in either. If you’re just looking for a casual mitt for playing catch or warming up a pitcher in the bullpen without breaking the bank, this might do the trick. But if you play any sort of competitive league baseball, it’s worth it to spend a few more bucks and consider the SSK Z5 catchers mitt instead for better quality and more bang for your buck.

    Does not hold up!
I paid a good bit of money for this glove because I thought MacGregor would hold up. My husband may have used this glove 5 or 6 times to catch with my son. The laces have already started tearing apart. I’m just outside my 30 day window to return it. Don’t know that I’ll be able to get a refund or replacement.

I’m looking forwardto my osn’s face on Christmas
This is a Christmas present for my son and we lice in Finland so a catcher’s mitt is rare over here. It is a little heavier than I thought but feels good.

  8. Pack Rat

    The “leather” was pretty plasticky
Was not happy with the quality of this MacGregor catchers mitt, the “leather” was pretty plasticky and slick. Rather than take a change on trying to improve it, I just returned it.
