So far, works like a charm.
So far, this manual can opener works like a charm. A little pricey, but worth the money if it continues to remain sharp. Other manual can openers that I’ve purchased simply won’t open even the basic veggie cans or fruit cans. It is easy to use, and so far seems very durable.

Don’t be dependent on electric
My 93 year old mother has one of these. When once again my electric can opener quit working I decided to get me one after using hers several times. Now I’m not dependent on the electricity being on, the blade being sharp and the can being the perfect size. This is very easy to use. the fold out handle gives you a good grip and the blade is extremely sharp. Now I won’t have to replace an electric opener every couple of years.

Best opener yet!
I’m a senior with carpal tunnel and have had to quit eating can goods as it was too hard using my regular opener with fingers. This opener is more of a whole hand and arm opener. I love it. Got a little carried away and opened a few too many cans the first time. Independence is very important and this helps

make sure it works for the size can you will be using, not good for larger cans
I purchased this can opener because I thought it would work on larger cans. the first time it worked great, but about the fourth time it stopped cutting and the handles started to bend and give in. It didn’t last at all 3-4 uses and that was it. Didn’t get a chance to know how it would last on regular size cans definite not for larger cans. Maybe not meant to be for all cans. design is great to use for the hands, easy to use, but I need one that works for regular size and larger size cans, so no star for me, would send back but don’t want to be bother even though shipping back is free

This is a great can opener. The only thing I can tell you is it leaves a sharp edge on the lid.
