First glove I ever bought for my 7 year old son! It was worth it.
I bought this glove for my 7 year old son for his first ever baseball season last spring. He did great with this glove. The glove comes already broken in. This is essential for any young ball player learning the game. We did soften it up a bit more with some glove oil. It is very important to get a glove that your kid is able to handle. You should avoid buying a glove for a youngster in the hopes he/she will grow into it as they grow. This glove is highly recommended for kids just starting out. My son can easily control the glove and focus on reactions and throwing skills. I highly recommend this glove for young ball players.

Happy with this glove
I was unsure about purchasing without seeing in person and trying it on but decided to try it out and turned out to be perfect. Small enough to be able to handle it easily but still has enough room to last the next 2 seasons. The glove pocket and middle 3 fingers are very soft. The thumb and pinky finger pockets seemed a little stiff but didn’t seem to have any trouble closing it right out of box and I’m sure with use they will loosen up some as well. Great mit for ages 6-8.

Bought for my son on his 8th birthday, he is a very average size. It is smaller than I would have wanted, the tag says it is for ages 7-8 which would have been helpful in the description. The 9.5″ is the entire length of the glove from the longest point. The quality is wonderful, very soft and flexible. I would recommend for ages 5-7. Hoping I can squeeze 2 years out of it, but likely only 1.

Good for immediate use
This is a great glove for a youth. Needs a little break in period but it’s still very functional for immediate use. Comfortable fit and should be a good glove for several years before the youth becomes full grown. Great pocket.
