So easy to use
I have neuropathy in my hands, and this opener is the best non-electrical one I’ve found for ease of use. Once you engage the opener, it turns effortlessly and does a great job of opening any size can. This is a replacement for the same kind I’d had for 8 years. Not bad for a hand-crank opener!

Works well for a few cans, but for most it is difficult to get the cutting wheel to penetrate the lid and while opening it often slips off. When it is in place, it cuts easily. But the wheel pops off the track and you have to try to get it back on over and over and over again, it’s very frustrating. Oxo designs are usually pretty great; it is my go-to brand for kitchen gadgets. But this one is poor. Not recommended.

This is a good, reliable can opener. Mine has lasted …10+ years? I just thought that I should get another one, as a backup, for when the one I am currently using finally stops working. The larger grips are better for someone with hand issues, etc.

I like this can opener very much. It is sharp and opens cans easily. However, it is different from “normal” can openers. My husband says he doesn’t like it because it takes him longer to position it on the can correctly. I think if functions well, it’s easy to clean and I’ve had it for years so it is durable.

I can’t, for the life of me, get these things to reliably stay on the can. I usually love OXO GOOD GRIPS stuff, but they come off track so often that I I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re either counterfeit or I’m a moron.
