Well worth the money!
I have been shooting Traditional Archery for about 35 years and have a number of bows so I have a clue. These style/types of bows with this limb mounting system are good solid bows for the experienced or novice shooter, especially for the price. This riser is much nicer in hand than in the pictures and the wood combination “In my opinion” is the nicest of any I’ve seen, and I have looked at a lot of them. The finish of this bow, is A LOT nicer (smooth and even) than bows of similar make that I have (2 Samicks) and those of friends from other manufactures. The packaging is top notch, the riser and limbs are packaged in a precut plastic foam, for the riser and each limb, to hold them in place inside the box. Other bows I have received of similar make are just wrapped in a plastic bags with thin pieces of foam wrap over the ends of the riser and limbs to protect them. To be honest I purchased this bow mainly for the riser’s looks, but the quality of it if nothing else, was well worth the investment. I may just have to buy a second one as a back up. With the use of the “H” bracket mounting system, this riser will use any limbs from other manufactures using the same mounting system. If you don’t know Southwest Archery is the only place I have found limbs that will make this a 64″ bow instead of a 62″. Uses the same riser, but just longer limbs. That helps those of us with a longer draw, mine is a 30″ draw. Just FYI.

LOVE IT, sting needed to be replaced almost right away.
Love this bow. seems sturdy good quality and has been taken down several times and shot weekly. The string that it came with was frayed in one spot and at risk of breaking so that was an easy replacement. Otherwise no complaints.

Excellent Beginner Bow
No archery experience for 30+ years and decided it was time to bring out my inner Legolas after taking one class (he definitely used a 25# bow right?). The set comes with everything you need in a bow and is incredibly easy to assemble. Riser and limbs arrived and are high quality; and the riser is comfortable to grip. The first few shots were smooth and much easier to shoot than the rental bow used. After a month of shooting with the bow the smoothness remains and I’m excited to look into upgrading it further (as the only current one now is the rug rest, or more formally known as the “fluffy thing”).High quality bow for beginners to jump into archery without shelling out $300+; also based on other reviews & talking with my local shop, great for intermediate and can ultimately be used in hunting as well (assuming you get the appropriate draw weight). Thank you Tachyon for helping introduce me to this great sport (and looking out for lefties as well).

Well built, quick, affordable!
I should start this by noting that I was sent this bow and asked to give an honest review.I have been shooting a traditional bow for 23 years and hunt exclusively with a traditional bow, even when given the opportunity to use a firearm. My family and I spend our time shooting these beautiful weapons around the country at different events and shoots. Bows are what I DO!!! 😁This is a very shootable and affordable option for anybody looking to get into traditional archery. And if you have a little one this could make introductory option for a young archer as they offer low draw weights and length options. As well as hunting draw weight.This is a great looking bow as well. While it may not win the beauty contest, it’s certainly far from the ugliest bow out there. And what this bow lacks in looks it makes up for in performance.The bow I was given to test, I requested in my preferred bow length and draw weight.It only took one shot to know that this bow is a completely valid option in the field and I would have total confidence hunting any North American big game with it. It may find its self on a future hunt as a backup bow! Very fast speeds for a recurve of its price point. I shot both heavy Douglas Fir arrows through it as well as Micro Diameter Carbons. The Tachyon Bow handled and shot both arrows very well.This kit encloses a very nice box and foam protective sleeve. I would recommend keeping and using it as a long distance travel case for your new bow. Inside that awesome box it comes with an adhesive strike face and arrow shelf, rubber (cat whisker) string silencers, metal string nock point (which I personally don’t like but the metal nock point work just FINE!) One endless loop bow string, one arm guard, and one bow stringer and a detailed set of instructions on how to assemble and use all mentioned items.All in all this is a worthy bow that would do great in the field as well at the range. With the addition of a new custom string, some cool limb skins and a nice quiver and beautiful traditional arrows this would make a beautiful bow that you could hang on the wall with pride and kill your buck next fall!

Great shooting bow! Great price!
I got this bow to try because it was a good price and looked awesome! Decided to go ahead and get a Tachyon Flemish string to go with it. I went with a 40lb draw because I wanted something with a lighter pull, that I could target practice with, without getting sore or unsteady. The instructions with the bow were pretty straight forward. The bow was easy to assemble. It feels great, the draw feels right, and is fairly quite with the flemish string. I have shot around 100 arrows through it so far, and it just feels better and better. I highly recommend this bow to anyone starting out or anyone who just wants a nice bow. I’m really enjoying it so far and plan to try to hunt with it this year and really put it to the test.
