    Good quality
My kids love it. It has fallen apart yet after a full season

    Nice for the price
My son loves his new sliding mitt. The only issue we have had was that after he used it a couple times the metal piece on inside came out of the fabric. It was easy to put back in and has held up since. For the price compared to others I’d recommend.

Either this or an oven mitt
Well after months of hearing about it I finally got one for my kid. It was either this or I was going to give him a fancy oven mitt. The finger/hand section is firm and will protect his hand fine. The wrist strap is long and goes around a couple times. Color is good and had the “drip” my kid was looking for. Couldn’t find a better price so I’m happy with this purchase. Should last him a couple years, he’s on his own after this one.

    Baseball favorite!
Bought for my 7-8 year old sons. They love them! Colors are bright, looks like it is made well. Great durability during many dusty and muddy games. They are still a favorite!

    Ice cream in the dugout
Sliding mitts aren’t just for the pros anymore. My son really likes the mitt he has and he also enjoys the playful ice cream design. It’s another way to share his personality. One note, we modified the Velcro tab a littleSo that it’s easier/quicker for him to put it on once he reaches base. Otherwise, happy with the product.

    Potentially can cause bodily damage
Im writing this to warn other parents the potential danger/damage this can cause. I bought this for my son’s 9th birthday because he had seen other baseball players with sliding mitts and had asked for one. He was super excited to wear it for his games. The mitt ended his baseball season early. My son was sliding into home plate with his mitt on. Because of the metal plates in the mitt that cover the wrist and slightly up the arm, didn’t allow for any flexibility and caused the metal plates to bend and break both bones just above his wrist where the ending of the metal plates in the mitt sat on his arm. Again this is just to make other parents aware of the potential danger wearing this can cause. I don’t hate the mitt as it does serve protection for hands getting stepped on, however, can also be unsafe.
