This can opener is great. It is heavier than your typical can opener. It adheres easily, and has a very smooth cut. I can’t say enough how much I love it!!

Very disappointed. Update!
The can opener that I received made me wish I hadn’t gotten rid of my old one.This one does not work at all no matter how hard or soft I grip. It just drags around the can with a hit and miss cut. Quite frustrating!Updating: I was sent a new can opener and it works just fine. A little hard for me to turn but I don’t have much strength.I am so pleased that they cared enough to replace it or me

Excellent can opener
I went through many cheap can openers because back in the day, they used to work really well. Not anymore! I wasted a lot of money on modern-day can openers. The last one I bought was super good, but I broke it trying to open a banged up can. Totally my fault. I was looking for one just as good as that one or better. This can opener is just what I was looking for. I didn’t have to fight with it to get it to latch onto or, in particular, cut the can. The can lid was cut smoothly and with ease. I have very arthritic hands and that smooth and easy cranking was important to me. I won’t be challenging this one or any other one on a banged up can ever again!! I like this one and I want to keep it for a long long time.

HORRIBLE
Do not buy this can opener! It is cute, but that is it. This is the hardest thing in the world to use! At first I thought maybe it was just me, but everyone who came to my house offered to buy me a new can opener after trying this one. I really wanted it to work because the color is so cute, but it’s hopeless. I think it was made for the hulk!
